I photographed a wedding at Winding Woods in Clayton last weekend, and our clients not only wore leather jackets, but also karate chopped boards during their ceremony.
Bride and Groom Karate Chopping Boards at their Winding Woods Wedding!
The day was 3.14.26 and I photographed an elopement. The ceremony was in front of this make shift backdrop, which was simply a sheet over a circle ring, like a table. Immediately I thought it looked like a huge soft box, so I put two remote flashes behind it and made it so! The bride was a film director and the groom, an actor. It just felt right to do this with them!

I photographed George and Peggy at Running Deer Golf Club on 12-14-25. The night before we got 5 inches of snow. George is a Vietnam Veteran 78 years old and married the love of his life Peggy! It was so fun and I even talked them into going out in the snow!
Fads come and go, but I have always shot in black and white when it comes to documentary style images. We help you flow through the day with guidance, but we are shooting photojournalistic style images in all the BTS!
When you hear a photographer say “time exposure” it means the photo took longer than a usual snap-shot to create an image. The shutter of the camera is intentionally released slowly to allow the light to enter the camera. This will result in anything moving to blur. This image was created on Broad Street in front of city hall Philadelphia. The bride and groom had to hold still while the camera took the time exposure. While they were standing there, I flashed some light at them to brighten them. What a result! Beyond the ordinary results.
