The day was 3.14.26 and I photographed an elopement. The ceremony was in front of this make shift backdrop, which was simply a sheet over a circle ring, like a table. Immediately I thought it looked like a huge soft box, so I put two remote flashes behind it and made it so! The bride was a film director and the groom, an actor. It just felt right to do this with them!

Batsto Village Engagement Session

From Mountains to Romance

Stephen Magnotta November 1, 2025

I have travelled to places only a small percentage of people will ever see in their lives with this guy. The tops of mountains, the back country of the Continental Divide, live Orca whales at Shi Shi beach, I suffered and celebrated over hundreds of miles with some of the funniest conversations along the way. Thank you for sharing this life with me and I am so honored to photograph your next milestone with your beautiful wife to be!
