The idea of starting my own photography company was a burning desire for me since the first day in photography school. I knew immediately that one day I would try to accomplish this dream. In 2000, Intrigue Photography was started out of my home while working for 2 other studios. It was a busy time for me, although a very important time in my life. I gained hands on knowledge and experience, as well as a certification in photography by the Professional Photographers Association of America. In 2002, Jeff Anderson, also a working photographer, student and great friend, joined me in the quest to create a more personal, more artistically driven studio in the Tri-state area. We ran the business for 1 year out of Blackwood NJ, then combined all the resources we had and started to brainstorm the possibilities of opening a full scale studio in Haddonfield NJ. In December 2003, all possibilities, dreams, and goals became a reality. We found a gorgeous little historic town and a fantastic area to open up! Since then, awesome photographers such as: Tony Jacobsen, John Reader, Joel Harris, Jason Messer, Ray Hennessy, and Armond DiGiempietro have joined us in the task of keeping our studio strong. Our client base grew larger each year, and in 2007 won an award for Entrepreneur of the year by Miles Technologies. Our mission statement is this: Strive to grow artistically, strive to grow as business men, and continue to go far beyond our clients needs. We want to warm hearts with our images. We want to excite people with our perspectives and continue to celebrate the traditions of our clients, family and friends. In a weird way, we are historians of time and that responsibility is exciting and cherished!
